I'm very busy at this time of year, so 'Fire and Ice' was the perfect read for me. It's shorter than a novel but still contained plenty of detail and content.
I loved the amusing banter between Tilly and Brant from the start, and was rooting for them to get together. My favorite part of the story came when Brant's goofy Great Dane, Dottie, joined the couple at the lodge and helped bring them together. In addition to the romance, there are a lot of laughs along the way.
This was sassier than some of the other stories I've read by Amy Blizzard, but nothing made me uncomfortable.
